Inventory analyst

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Conduct and/or manage stock and cycle count activities and PI’s (Physical Inventory) according to the departmental procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies or variances.
• Handle client communication related to all stock matters
• Performing inventory-related queries and transactions, data collection and analysis, and stock control verification and counting activities.
• Be a first point of contact for the internal customers and warehouse team leaders regarding stock control activities.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory records in ERP or WMS systems. (reconciliation between WMS systems)
• Coordinate scrap process (administration in WMS and communication with scrap company)
• Make and communicate daily reports for stock or cycle counts.
• Execute and monitor queries, transactions and stock adjustments in WMS.
• Analyze “in and external“ data and perform ABC analyses.
• Support set up and layout Warehouse according to performed analyses.
• Generate regular inventory reports (weekly/monthly stock report, utilization report, monthly CC report…)
• Analyse inventory levels, trends and set the automated replenishment
• All other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Vocational education (HBO level) or equivalent.

Experience:

Two years of experience in a similar working environment.

Skills:

• Ability to give instruction, advice and support on both physical and administrative stock related matter.
• Ability to take instruction
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Good knowledge of SAP
