Business Systems Analyst
Responsibilities:
To be responsible in providing IT solution based on different business requirement and problem. To support and improve the quality of the services delivered, participated in different project implementation, and provide post-implementation support.
1.Business System Analysis and Solution Implementation
1)Analyze business and customer requirements and design or improve business and operation processes with system solutions.
2)Develop, test and deploy systems and applications to support business and operations in all sites of ModusLink which is using offline applications developed by the team.
3)Standardize and maintain all systems and applications developed by APAC Application Team which are running in ModusLink sites.
4)Align IT global functional teams in developing and implementing standard solutions.
2.Work and Team Management
1)Job and task assignment, workload distribution-balancing and performance appraisal.
2)Teamwork, coordination and communication across functions, organizations and locations.
3)Documentation including tech specs, manuals, SOP, KPI and reports, etc;
4)Training planning and management.
5)Maintain proper levels of standardization, in line with corporate policies and processes including SOX/PCI/GDPR compliance and SDLC/Change management. Participate in business processes mapping.
3.Project Management
1)Align IT projects and priorities to critical business initiatives throughout ModusLink Global by working closely with local management and business teams.
2)Manage local projects and missions by planning, resource allocation, deliverying, monitoring and reporting.
Requirements:
1.ERP system exposure in either manufacturing, distribution or financial industry.
2.Programming knowledge and skills on C#, ASP.NET, VB, Python and SQL. Development on SharePoint, Oracle DB, and Crystal Report would be a plus.
3.Business, manufacturing and distribution process knowledge.
4.Presentation and communication skills.
5.Team management and organization skills.
6.Project management.
7.Documentation skills on tech specs, manuals, system diagram, and process flow chart.
8.Ability to speak and write English&Chinese fluently.
9.Accept working in different time zones.
