A New Supply Chain in a Smarter World

At ModusLink, it’s no secret that we’re headed toward a smarter and more connected world. It’s something we hear every day from our customers and see in our daily lives as we rely more and more on devices to complete tasks and gather information. In our industry, this continued shift toward digitalization presents new opportunities and new ways of engaging with customers and consumers; it is changing how companies operate and creating the ability to curate, manage and leverage data that organizations can turn into actionable knowledge to grow their businesses.

I’m looking forward to traveling to Shanghai later this month where I’ll present at the 2017 Supply Chain Innovation Summit on May 25th at Le Royal Meridien, Shanghai. My session, “A new Supply Chain in a smarter world; How IoT and Smart Devices are Changing the Interactions between Suppliers, Customers and Consumers,” will focus on how organizations can embrace the shift to digitalization and ensure it has a positive impact on their supply chain and overall business.

I’ll pull from real life use cases from our clients to demonstrate how end-to-end value chains are changing and new business models are emerging. I will also uncover the key benefits of utilizing the IoT in business operations, impacts and opportunities for the supply chain and guidance on how to bridge the gap between potential and reality.

I’m honored to speak at this year’s event, and look forward to standing alongside the impressive speaker lineup, which consists of renowned industry experts, including executives from SAP, Nokia and Reliance Industries Limited.

If you’ll be at the conference this year, please stop by my presentation. I’d love to meet you and discuss the impact IoT is having on your organization, and how ModusLink could work with you to increase the value.
