1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for developing and directing the strategy for Global Logistics covering international product sourcing coupled with regional B2B and B2C distribution operations. Work with regional teams to identify and manage logistic operations including but not limited to Integrator and LTL networks, international cross border and JIT solutions.

2. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
A. Develop and champion a growth development strategy for logistics and freight services
B. Provide price simulations and lane analytics to protect and grow this business segment
C. Be highly competent in a client facing environment
D. Work with the regional logistics teams to negotiate contracts and terms, proactively work to improve service levels.
E. Understand and lever technology to streamline operations, reduce costs, deliver an outstanding customer experience and drive process improvements
F. Lead a high-performance, widely distributed team with a bias for action, positive attitude, professionalism and inclusive mindset.
G. Prepare, secure approval for, and implement operating and expenditure budgets for department, and operate within those guidelines. Assist in the preparation of the company-wide budgets.

3. NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
A. Other duties as required.

4. WORKING CONDITIONS
A. WFH or general climate-controlled office environment.
B. Moderate travel is required.

5. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
A. Bachelor’s degree in international logistics, supply chain management, logistics, or a related discipline.
B. 7+ years of related transportation and freight experience, primarily both USA and Europe.
C. Effective communication, negotiation, selling and presentation skills for supplier negotiations, internal influence, and customer selling activities.
D. Reporting and analytics plus utilizing Lean methods and tools.
E. Expertise in recognized logistics platform.
F. Project management experience that includes leading, organizing, planning and executing projects from conception through implementation across multiple reporting and organizational lines.
