ModusLink and Intershop Team Up to Help Retailers Looking to Rapidly Scale Ecommerce Operations
It’s that time of year again, when our team at ModusLink heads over to Munich, Germany for Internet World. This year we are pleased to be attending with our long-term eCommerce solutions partner Intershop, to present on what our out-of-the box solutions for speeding up e-commerce processes were able to do for global coffee brand, Tassimo.
You can go most anywhere in the world and ask someone if they know what Motorola is, and more often than not the person will be familiar with the brand – and at least some of its products. This is because Motorola has had such a long and successful history, stretching back almost nine decades, as an innovator and technology leader in the mobile communications industry.
Back in May 2015 we announced that Tassimo had selected to partner with ModusLink to execute and manage its end-to-end e-Commerce operations throughout Europe. This included the countries of Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, as well as in Ukraine and Russia.
When I’m out in social circles, I like to ask friends and acquaintances about their business. Even if they are in a completely different industry, I find value in asking what’s working for them – and what isn’t working for them. I also always ask them to describe their customers and often hear them use words like “demanding” or “difficult,” and it never ceases to amaze me.
Today we are thrilled to share the news that our work with WiFi-first smartphone service Republic Wireless, which includes quality testing, inventory control, pick, pack and ship and reverse logistics, has been included in the 2015 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100, “100 Great Supply Chain Projects.”
Today we are proud to announce that Tassimo, makers of a hot beverage system that uses smart technology to allow customers to make hot beverages one cup at a time, has selected ModusLink to execute international fulfillment, financial order management and e-Commerce operations throughout Europe.
