Earlier this month, our team in Brno, Czech Republic hosted an industry panel and discussion featuring representatives from the American Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Embassy in Prague, McKinsey & Company and a variety of leading manufacturing companies in the region. Given the vast shortage of skilled technicians, the event facilitated discussions on how to address the lack of workforce today, as well as how to calibrate the education system for a workforce that matches tomorrow’s demand.

For over ten years, ModusLink’s Solution Center in Brno, Czech Republic has been providing customers with a wide range of critical supply chain capabilities in the consumer packaged goods, medical device and technology industries – even providing the facility with some major upgrades and reservations as it reached its ten year anniversary in April 2015.
In mid-2015, ModusLink was pleased to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our Solution Center in Brno, Czech Republic. Since opening its doors in 2005, the Brno center has grown 327 percent and served as the logistics hub for top brands needing to reach a global customer base. To accommodate this growth, we knew it was time to upgrade the facility to take full advantage of the latest technology, process and efficiency improvements.
