As part of the implementation process, companies need to decide whether the Poetic Entitlement Management System will be deployed in-house or externally hosted. Some companies feel that the IT infrastructure, space and expert resource requirements of an enterprise application can be better met in a hosted environment.
ModusLink offers full hosting services to meet the needs of our clients. In this approach, the client retains full control and responsibility for managing and operating the details within the system, but the application actually runs on one or more servers in an external datacenter owned by, or offered in partnership with, ModusLink. With hosted services, Poetic is run with the highest levels of application and data security and managed according to the service level agreement (SLA) selected by the client.
