Policies
Purchase Price: The purchase price applies to tuners and mainboards purchased from ModusLink PTS or distributor inventories without supplying a dud. All pricing and general policies are subject to change without prior notification.
Exchange Price: The exchange price applies when an acceptable tuner/mainboard is received, repaired, or exchanged and returned to the customer. If the dud is determined to be unrepairable, a replacement tuner/module will be provided from ModusLink PTS’ inventory. Under these circumstances, the purchase price will apply. Refused estimates or units with extensive damage caused by power surge, or having been previously worked on, are subject to additional service fees.
Dud Credits: Dud credits will be issued to customers who have returned rebuildable duds with accompanying dud return authorization tags from ModusLink PTS. Individual Return Authorization Tags will accompany tuners and modules purchased from ModusLink PTS’ inventory. Each dud tuner or module returned for dud credit must be accompanied with a completed return tag within 30 days from the date of purchase. Dud modules/tuners received for dud credit without return authorization tags will have no value and are subject to disposal. The amount of credit issued will be full dud value listed on the Return Authorization Tag. Dud values are subject to change. Credits for duds may be applied toward payment of past due invoice(s). Duds must be returned in rebuildable condition.
Dud Purchases: The Dud Values listed in the Price Guide, or on the web on-line ordering system, do not necessarily reflect or imply purchases prices for duds. Dud purchase prices are affected by market condition and inventory needs; therefore, they are subject to change.
Warranty: Television products are covered by a repair and return replacement warranty only. Warranty credit will not be issued. ModusLink PTS TV mainboards and tuners are backed by a 6-month limited warranty. Satellite products are backed by a 90-day limited parts and labor warranty.
Terms and Conditions: Net 30 days from date of invoice, with approved credit. There will be a $25.00 fee assessed for all returned checks. Visa and MasterCard are welcome.
Freight and Shipping: FOB PTS. Minimum shipping/handling charges will be $3.50. This will include a handling fee and insurance change. Prepaid orders should include all charges. Orders will be shipped COD for the amount of the remaining balance.
